Summary:
In the world of My Hero Academia, approximately eighty percent of the population (and growing) have been born with quirks – unique superpowers. Midoriya is part of the twenty percent group – born without a quirk. He never let that destroy his dreams of becoming a hero, and look at him now!
The second round of the war is officially in full swing. The heroes got their wish – a chance to choose the time and location of their fight. But that doesn't mean the fight will be easy. Or that it will go exactly as planned.
Review:
Ahh! Being stuck in the middle of a MHA war arc means there are no breaks to be had! My Hero Academia Vol. 37 hits just as hard as the last volume, with countless heroes throwing their names into the mix and doing everything they can to save the day.
Also, let's just talk about the elephant in the room: that cover. Ouch. By this point, the internet had already thoroughly spoiled this little arc, but it still hurt to see, you know? Then again, this isn't going to be the last painful moment (I assume).
That said, it is fascinating to see how the battles are playing out. Every new scene gives me new theories to play with. I have several very strong opinions and theories related to the conclusion of certain villain arcs, but I guess I'll have to be patient and see where it goes.
Deku's entrance is by far one of the best moments, definitely of the arc, possibly of the series. I CANNOT WAIT to see that bit play out in the anime. It's going to be amazing (I can almost hear the music now...).
Anyway, I'm almost caught up with my manga read, as I only have one volume left. Uhhh...Time to start reading it by the chapter?
