Again like book one we have an awesome cover for this book. Great representation of the story (obviously.) Fantastic composition. Nice typography with an eye-catching title. The light blue on the B&W background really makes it POP. It's also similar to book one so good unity within the series.

This one starts off right where book one left us. Thea and Cam are in the angel realm but the powers that be separate them. Thea begins her training, and there are obstacles thrown in their path at every opportunity. When an assignment sets Cam on a path towards darkness, things go from bad to worse.

I enjoyed this one a smidge less than I did book one. This one dragged a bit through the middle for me. That said I still found it extremely well written. I enjoyed the change of setting for this book. We learn more about the angel realm and angels in general. There were twists and turns. Some angst. Some drama. Some hot sex scenes. Some new and interesting secondary characters are introduced. Both main characters were likable (for the most part.) I am still struggling with Thea a bit. I just don't like her sometimes. She comes across too harsh or whiny. Something. I can't put my finger on what exactly but it is keeping me from completely liking her. Cam, on the other hand, is pretty much perfect in this one.

So like I said I enjoyed it. We are left hanging again with another cliffhanger so I will try and wait patiently for the third (and final) book to come out. Two thumbs up from yours truly.
