Summary: Fire has always been a thing of nightmares for many. In this world, people are at risk of spontaneously combusting and turning into Infernals. An Infernal wants only one thing - to destroy. They are no longer considered human. That is where the Fire Force comes into play. They must protect the people. Company 8 has wandered into the Abyss – and that's not some metaphorical phrase. They are in real danger as they enter the underground caverns that have become (have always been?) the Nether. Each member of the team will have their own unique fight to face. Review: And so the battle continues onward. The battles are really layered at this point, aren't they? We have the fight against the Infernals, those behind the Infernals, and now Shinra/Sho. It's a lot, but at least you won't get bored reading Fire Force Vol. 10. Okay, there is a fair bit of info-dumping during one of the fights – so maybe you'll get bored of that? The information will be useful to know (and is pretty interesting, if a lot, all at once). How you react will probably depend on how much you want to know about the Andolla bursts. While I found all the fights in this arc interesting (especially the last one or two), I'll admit that, at this point, I'm more interested in seeing what's next. It feels like the stage has finally been set, and it's time to see how it all plays out.
