Emma's dog, Toby, is always in trouble. He gets into the rubbish, he leaves muddy paw prints everywhere and he always wets the rug. Finally, Emma's mum decides that something has to be done. After a few weeks of training, Toby is a top dog. He can 'sit', 'heel' and fold the laundry...but even the best dog can't always be perfect. This comical, jolly tale is sure to make anyone laugh out loud.
My kids loved this book - the trouble the dog gets into is tons of fun for them. As a teacher, I like that it exposes them to the days of the week over and over. And there's lots of repetitive text for new readers.
