This issue carries on the plot started in the last issue, with the creepy forever kid king. Okay, that’s not really his name, but that’s all I think of when I think about him. Can’t help it. He’s just super creepy and immature all rolled into one blue haired package.
It’s interesting how the different worlds shown here seem to have different effects on the group. Do you think it’s a distance thing, or is something else going on?
I feel like the major revelation for this world wasn’t actually all that surprising. We pretty much saw it coming. But that doesn’t make it any less interesting, I swear.
They did a fantastic job of making the antagonist look incredibly creepy here. But it’s a subtle sort of creepy. It was well done.
