Summary: Twilight is a master spy. By their nature, spies cannot be famous. But Twilight is as close as they come to being famous for his career. His latest assignment requires him to have the perfect family. While he's found the family, he's working on the perfect part... While this family may have come together because of Twilight's story, it's time for Yor's backstory to take center stage. That is to say, she has a dangerous mission – one that might bring the whole family together. Or tear them apart. Review: Spy x Family Vol. 8 is pretty much everything I had hoped it would be. It starts a dangerous new plot where Yor is asked to bodyguard a mafia family (long story). Honestly, it's great to see a longer-running plot focused on Yor. Of course, the plot will get even more complex because little Anya will not leave it be. That girl is a troublemaker, and I adore her. My only regret is that there's no way for Bond to come along on this adventure. This latest plot takes up multiple volumes, so sit down and prepare for that! If you can, I would strongly advise getting your hands on volume 9 so you may read them back to back. Oh! Did I mention that the mini-story is hilarious?
