Eclipse

by Wilder Poetry

Experience a cosmic love story like no other, told through a collection of stunning poetry and enchanting imagery.

Eclipse, a collection of poetry and art from Wilder, illustrates a magical journey of love between the sun and moon. Readers will experience firsthand the dichotomy of night and day, light and dark, presence and absence, and how one doesn’t exist without the other. Separated into three parts—“Stars,” “Between,” and “You & Me,”—Eclipse dives into the abundant emotions someone experiences only when in the throes of passion.

Thank you NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for the chance to read and review Eclipse by Wilder Poetry.

This is the second Wilder Poetry book I’ve read, the first being Golden (also via NetGalley). While I wasn’t a fan of Golden, I’m a sucker for a pretty poetry book, and Eclipse is just that.

Unfortunately, and perhaps fortunately, that is all Eclipse is. The illustrations are gorgeous and you just like the vibe of the book; does the poetry have any actual substance to it; absolutely…not.

There is definitely a crowd for Eclipse, and it’s the kind of book I’d want to be on my bookshelf just because it’s so pretty.
