Summary:
Twilight is a master spy. By their nature, spies cannot be famous. But Twilight is as close as they come to being famous for his career. His latest assignment requires him to have the perfect family. While he's found the family, he's working on the perfect part...
The plan is going forward, for the most part. Twilight has plenty of obstacles in his path, and while Anya is doing her best to help...she's not the best student. Meanwhile, Yor has her own problems to deal with. As does Bond, for that matter.
Review:
Ah! This series is just so endearing! I love it. Spy X Family Vol. 7 is a fun read, though it did feel slightly different from the rest of the series? Why? It felt like at least the book's second half was split into many different side stories.
To be clear, I don't mind this at all. Seeing different characters and the events happening in their lives was a delight. That said, I am pretty invested in the plotline that just started (the one revolving around Yor), so it would have been nice to read more. Oh well, I'll just have to wait for Vol. 8, I guess.
Anya's story is cute, simple, and sweet. Bond's was hilarious (who's surprised there?). Twilight's was probably the closest to the main plot, and there's no surprise there, either. All things said and done, this volume helped to flesh out the world (and the characters) a bit more, which is appreciated.
