I love this issue/series and everything it stands for. Having so many awesome creative team members working on this issue really made it stand out. Also, I just realized (thanks to twitter) that the covers can be combined together to make a larger image. That's a brilliant touch.
This issue starts out with three unique plots, but I have a feeling they're all going to merge together with time. I do love that so many of my favorites were all making an appearance in one place though. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Campfire Song - The first plot in this issue. It focuses on a summer camp in which superheroes will be arriving to help talk to and encourage the campers. This includes the Invisible Woman, which is pretty awesome. I think we'd all like to go to that camp.
Style High Club - This plot references a lot of characters that I don't know, but that I feel like exist somewhere in the Marvel universe. If I'm wrong, then the author did a great job establishing these characters in a way that made them feel like they had been around forever. The name does a good job of telling us the basic theme for this plot.
Unusual Suspects - The third and final plot in this series. It focuses on Captain Marvel, which obviously made me insanely excited. And it's so believable that Carol would agree to make an appearance to a camp, and then would ask her second in command to make sure she actually goes through with it.
