And so the saga continues! Honestly, I'm shocked at how quickly the story is moving. It doesn't feel like I just read volume five of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. It feels more like I've been reading it for at least ten volumes – and I mean that in a good way.

This series has a way of sucking you in. Combine that with the quick progress and timeline of the story, and it's easy to see why it feels like you've been reading this book for years. It has a way of forging that genuine connection.

As far as the plot for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Vol. 5 goes, this was fun! I feel like it's a moment we've been waiting for, and it had a satisfying culmination and conclusion. It makes me wonder what will be the next hurdle for Rimuru.
