Okay, so this might be my favorite issue so far. Like the rest of the issues, Hawkman is still traveling through his past to try and learn more about himself, as well as come up with a solution to a current…problem. This issue read differently than the rest, but I don’t want to spoil the reasons for why.
I think Superman fans would probably enjoy this issue. There were lots of references and hat tips to be seen. And I’m sure a ton of them flew over my head too.
Loved the artwork for this issue. It still had that Hawkman style but was leaning more towards Superman’s style and color palette at the same time (just look at the cover!). It was really subtle and well done.
