While I did enjoy this biography there were just a couple things that stood out to me that were not my jam.

  1. I wasn't aware of Corrie's devoutness to her religion. I had heard her name many times over the years and never had the chance to look into her life further. Since I am not religious, these sections of the book were not my favorite.
  2. While it was nice Loftis tied Corrie's timeline to Audrey Hepburn and Anne Frank, it felt incomplete and unnecessary since this a book about Corrie and not Hepburn or Frank.

I believe that people who enjoy WWII history or those that want to know more about Corrie will enjoy this book.

I received this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
