I almost gave this 3.5 stars for the climax. It had layers and didn't feel obvious or rushed. That being said, the story leading up to it had lulls and wasn't the most engaging. There were a couple of good turns to help it move a bit faster but nothing spectacular. It was about what I expect from having read several books by Cellier. The story is serviceable and her books are pleasant, easy reads but not much more.
I also thought it had good wrap up post climax. It wasn't hurried and let the reader linger a bit in the conclusion of the series.
