So, let me begin with that I'm a huge fan of Amber Lynn's work, especially her Caged Series! I highly encourage everyone to read that series. When I found out that she had a contemporary book coming, I knew I was in for a treat. I didn't have any expectations for this book because I knew she'd blow they way out of the water, and she did!

I 100% loved every single thing about this book, especially where the story took place at, the ever so lovely Bering Sea. It was a definite first for any story that I have read to take place in such a brutal place, I use to watch Deadliest Catch all the time, I can't even imagine why they would do that .. The sea is a treacherous one.

Ahhh the characters, I loved them all. And all the issues that each of them had could be easily related to. Well, I can't say that I can relate to them personally, but I know many others who would. I admired Aesa so much, her desire to make amends with her father, which was something that was extremely hard for her because of her past. I wish I could say more about her, but I would just give away the story ... I shall refrain. Aesa's father, he hasn't exactly been the best father, but I had some admiration for him as well. Their relationship doesn't make a complete turnaround in a day, but I loved their re-development of their relationship throughout the book, it has its 'awe' moments. And there's Decker, 'The Wise' ... that's what I would call him. If I need some wisdom, lets just ask Decker. He helps you see the other side of things. And his calmness, just amazes the crap out of me! Aesa and Decker's relationship is amazing, they're pretty perfect for each other. I loved all the dialogue between to the two, even the moment when Aesa decided to act "a bit silly".

Amber, you did it again, this book had me in an emotional shut-down ... whatever that really means. This book we definitely be beyond a 5, if I rated that high. I can't even express how much I loved this book. It brought me to tears and there were so many times that I felt like I was actually witnessing this story head on. It seriously felt like I was there. This book has captivated in me and everyone NEEDS to read it. You will not regret it.
