A trip to the landscapers ends up to the discovery of a body and a friend asking for help in solving the murder of their spouse. But Stevie is struggling with dare I say jealousy? It seems now that Win is corporeal, Stevie is having a tough time dealing with her crime solving partner. Win is forming friendships and becoming active in their community.

I went back and forth between understanding Stevie and wanting to tell her to grow up and be happy. Drama aside, it was delightful to see Win and Stevie working side by side on a murder case. I just wish we saw a little more development in their romantic development.

The thread with Dana and the confession was a good one. Poor Dana.

An intriguing case, humor and friends added to the tale. While each audiobook deals with a fresh case, overall ARC development and character relationships demand that this series be read in the order of its release.

Spend time with Stevie and Win if you looking for a light, humorous paranormal cozy. Hollie Jackson is delightful as the narrator. She has created unique voices for each character, and her pacing and tone enhance the overall story. This review was originally posted at Caffeinated Reviewer
