Spider-Force (2018) #1 (of 3)

How many different Spider characters are out there in all the different universes? As it turns out, there are a lot of them. Enough to warrant the multiple spinoff events that have been happening, to say the least. Speaking of, Spider-Force is spinning off of Spider-Geddon, so if you haven’t been following that plotline you might not be aware of what is going on. In short; it’s a massive spider-team-up. Though the teams seem to be kept as smaller and more manageable groups, on the whole.
Spider-Woman is the spider-character I know the best from this series, but I’m relatively new to the Spider-Man comics (there’s so much backlog it’s going to take me quite some time to get through all of that!) so that might not be saying much.
The issue started out with one of those high intensity flash forward moments, then went back and set the stage for it all. That’s usually a good way of getting us invested in what is happening, and it worked well here.
