Pink Hair, Blue Hair by Jenna Lyn Field is a children's book that teaches young ones to embrace diversity and appreciate that they are unique. It doesn't matter what you wear or what color your hair is. You are you and however you look, you should love being you. It also teaches children to appreciate the differences in those around us. The images are simplistic and the words are simple sentences perfect for an early reader. This was an easy read to share with Sophia and while she can't appreciate the message she loved the faces on each of the children.
