I was on the fence about reading this book. I am not a fan of erotica and I know Samantha Young writes mostly that. However, I decided to give the book a shot. I am glad I did. There are some explicit sex scenes, but I didn't feel it was excessive or anything. I wanted to punch Caine through most of the story. I loved Lexie though! There is some good suspense created beyond just the struggle between Caine and Lexie that made the book better for me (otherwise, it would have been all about the messed up relationship between these two and that would have just pissed me off!). So, overall, it was a bit more explicit than I usually read but it wasn't erotica (IMO) and while I found some of the relationship drama annoying, it wasn't a bad book! The end is great!
