Freaking Brock McNeil. I am in LOVE. Regan, honey, you are crazy for farting around and not seeing him for who really was from the very beginning. I tired of her feeling like she needed to go after Logan because he was…deemed more worthy of her time. Now, don’t get me wrong, Regan in many ways, was my kind of girl. A take no prisoners, take no shit woman. She sounds like a few of my friends, in fact. Brock- for his part of this…didn’t really tell everyone how accomplished and successful he really was. He was used to being seen as the underachiever and he totally assumed and accepted the role, even though it wasn’t a true representation of himself.

Brock had me at “Darlin”. Growing up in The South (yes, we capitalize it), I’m quite a sucker for that term of endearment. “The Southern drawl rolled through her like the best kind of bourbon, making a small feminine part of her swoon in delight.” AMEN. There we so many swoon worthy and make me want to stick my head in a freezer moments in this book. Once I made some peace with Regan, I loved it.

All I know is, I want more from the McNeil family. And from what I her, we will be getting more in July!!! If Brock’s brother is anything like him, I will be a happy girl.
