As a reader, I'm still wrestling with whether I enjoy novels-told-in-verse. They are quick reads and enjoyable, I guess, but I still feel like I'm missing some of the emotional pull I get from prose-based novels. That said, I did enjoy learning about Gerda Taro and her journey from Germany to France to Spain to cover the Spanish Civil War. But emotionally, I still felt like something was missing.
