The blurb for this book really caught my attention, but it didn't end up being one I enjoyed reading. It was a dry recitation of Indian history and politics. I felt the blurb was a stretch to what actually happened which was difficult for the author to piece together because Amrit was a woman and not a significant figure in European or Indian history so much has been lost.
I received this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
