Break Me by Nina West

Break Me (The Wolf Hotel, #2)

by Nina West

Break Me is book Two in the highly addictive forbidden romance Wolf Hotel series.

Henry Wolf is a deliciously wicked, sinfully handsome man who has done a very bad thing.
Potentially.

Worse, he owns me now—every inch of my body and a sizeable chunk of my stupid, naïve heart.
And he’s made it clear that if I want to keep my job and stay in Alaska, I’m stuck catering to his every whim and wish—both in the hotel and in his bedroom—while I wait for the potential fiery media circus ring that will no doubt drag my reputation into the gutter along with his, should his past discretions surface.

I will not surrender to his demands, not when I have dirt to hold over his head. IF I have the guts to blackmail him, that is. Something warns me that going through with it will have disastrous consequences for my heart.

Break Me should be read after Tempt Me.

I liked this installment in the series much better than the first. Abbi's values and faith that she held onto so tightly, now take a back seat to Henry Wolf. In Henry's wake is heartbreak, guilt and a new kind of sexual awakening for Abbi. She may have done a complete 180 in the first book from start to finish, but in WOLF BITE, Abbi embraces her sexual awakening. I applaud Abbi. She's realizing that she can live her own life without dictates from her domineering mother, even standing up to her. This is much different from the girl she was in WOLF BAIT. Abbi's heartbreak helped her grown up, helped her open up to new things (with the egging on from Ronan and Connor) and made her realize what she really wants and what she needs to fight for.

I look forward to reading the next book. With Abbi back within her mother's reach and her hometown, I'm anxious to see if the backbone Abbi grew in Alaska gets stronger or if she'll turn back into the girl she was before.
