Given how much I adore Saga, I thought Paper Girls would be a no-brainer! But it was just ok. Not particularly mind-blowing, but not unenjoyable either. I think the story could go somewhere interesting, so I might continue with the other volumes, but I'm not desperate to do so either.

The story's fine, but the art and content read like young adults, not 12-year-olds. And three of the four girls are all drawn with almost the same face, so in some panels, I struggled to determine who was who.

It's a decent graphic novel, but not world-shattering.
