Sadie McGillycuddy’s promise to look after her sister, made to her dying mother, is severely tested when her sibling disappears one night and Sadie has to track her down.

Count Dolphie Westerhoven is travelling by train to San Francisco when he finds himself defending Sadie from an unsavoury mobster and ends up inviting her back to his aunt’s home where they can begin the hunt for Sadie’s runaway sister.

An enthralling start to book one of the ‘Home At Last’ Historical Mystery Series.
Memorable characters, a couple of great villains and a fast moving plot that captures the imagination.

Sadie’s Vow is definitely one not to miss
