Unique and Compelling!
I read quite a bit, and I can’t think of any book like this, but if you like Dee Henderson and Irene Hannon, you’ll like Karen E. Ingle. I love her characters. My favorite parts are when Maddie, our young woman trapped in human trafficking with a pregnancy to “take care of” is treated with great care and dignity by my besties, Tricia, Paloma and Avery, women who know how to help women in crisis. And, once the story takes off, even if you do manage to put this book down, it stays with you. The plot is compelling, and the tension seems real. The only drawback was I WANT MORE!! The ending left me in tears!
