This is the last book and the series, and I’m sad for that. I’ve loved the books in this series, the deep emotional stories. The MC in this series, and in this book, are different than a lot of others in the genre, and that’s something I really appreciate. There’s still the fiercely loyal brotherhood in the club, the sassy old ladies, and the slice of MC life. But there’s a vastly different tone to how women are viewed, which I love. The club’s patron is an Irish goddess, which gives a level of respect to women in general that you don’t always get in this genre. This series has a one of the best collections of heroines, not a single damsel in distress or wilting flower among them!

Brewer has lived the club life for a long time, but Delphi wants nothing to do with it. She’s got her own baggage with it, which leaves her trying to hold Brewer away. But, of course, that doesn’t happen. And for Brewer, the single life has been the only life he’s wanted… until he meets Delphi. The romance between them is so good!

And I loved the other elements of the plot, too. Brewer and his sister, as well as the whole club, are trying to find his parents’ killers. There are so many twists and turns! The story is a perfect blend of romance, danger, action, and intrigue.
