I can't sing the praises of this audio series enough. It was absolutely engrossing. Gaiman's narration and descriptions are so immersive I felt like I was watching a film in my imagination.

While it is magical, and wonderful, it is also very, very dark. Some scenes are heart-wrenching and confronting - 24 Hours was probably one of the most difficult, yet emotional stories I've ever heard - but the series is much richer and deeper for it.

Without a doubt, this audio version of the Sandman should be the gold standard for audio fiction.
