I love how you are hooked into this world that has varying cultures and that the people are following all the rules of the various societies. Kestral really trys to figure out to navigate this world by following these established rules of how her society works yet she also is trying to save those she fallen in loved with and those she should love (her father). All the moves are just like the game she plays bite and sting in the story. You try to figure out where she going to go next but you never guess how the end is going to go down. Wow so ready for the last book will it go to happily ever after or like game of thrones will all the players we love and hold dear be mowed down in a bloody battle?
