This could have been a great story but it was incredibly badly executed.

The book is full of typos, the author doesn't even spell the names of her characters consistently.

I found the characters quite two-dimensional. Although I did like Reese and Jay, even they weren't well fleshed out. Emmy is a spoilt, bratish teenager who loves a guy so much she kisses someone else instead. Marcus is alternately wingey and dictatorial but nothing in between. Amena is horrible but seems to have personality changes frequently.

The ending seems forced and almost as an excuse to make a cliff hanger and get a certain plot point 'resolved' in the easiest manner possible.
