While “Breach” was a story of lust and discovery, “Infraction” is a tale of love, penance, and forgiveness.

Book two of the “Breach” Series picks up right where the first left off with Nathan crashing into Lila’s hospital room. I would have thought the road would have been fairly easy after that. She’s alive, they love each other, and all is right with the world, right? But no, Ms. Lynn didn’t write a route one might expect.

Lila and Nathan struggle with issues ranging from trust and love to confrontation and condemnation. Each of their painful pasts are thrown front and center. With the help of their therapist, Darren, they are forced to face all the demons they would rather leave behind.

Even with a plot driven by the intricacies of healing the human mind and soul, Ms. Lynn carries the deliciously dirty scenes from “Breach” with her in “Infraction”. At first, I thought it would hinder the process of Lila and Nathan’s recovery as individuals and couples, but Ms. Lynn brings them back together physically at just the right time in the perfect way.

If you like a story that makes you laugh, cry, and get more than a little hot under the collar, this is the story for you.

Thank you to K. I. Lynn for sharing a copy of “Infraction” with me in exchange for an honest review.
