I've definitely been in a dark romance kick and I wanted to give this anthology a go. I normally get pretty hesitant about them because in some cases the novellas end up being sneak peeks into a full-length novel. As frustrating as that can be for me personally, I did end up snagging one of the full-length novels, so perhaps I'll count that as a win. ;-)

I read almost all of them, but just wanted to share a couple that I enjoyed! This anthology is such a great intro to some authors that I've been wanting to read from and I definitely can't wait to read more from.

Rumplestiltskin by Celia Aaron

4 STARS

First time read by Celia Aaron and I definitely enjoyed her brand of dark. I was pretty much begging for more of this couple by the end, totally would have loved this as a full-length novel. Lily and Clark will take you on one rather steamy ride ;-)

The Princess and the Pea by Sierra Simone

OK, so I've had her Camelot series on my TBR forever, but this novella just might be that extra push to FINALLy start the series. Absolutely devoured this one AND it was my first read by Sierra. I can't wait to spiral down into her dark romances.

Little Red Riding Hood by Karina Halle

3.5 STARS

I haven't read a lot of books by Karina, but holy crap, I just had to talk about this novella. Karina's brand of dark romance isn't quite what I like to read about, but I think she definitely knocked this novella out of the park. I loved the assassin factor and that made a rather erotic read, some off-putting things, but a crazy ride for sure.

Swan Princess by Natasha Knight

SooooOOo, this novella was a little insight to a full-length novel, but I was left eager wanting to know more about Salvatore and Lucia. The novella didn't really have much romance nor a HEA, however I loved the couple so much that I bought the book. And I definitely recommend that book, Salvatore in Natasha's Benedetti Brothers series!CHECK OUT THE REST OF MY REVIEW | HERE
