To fall in love with Africa in the 1920s

I love Deanna's writing. It took me a while to read this one as Delilah is much more worldly an I prefer my protagonists as I spend most of my time in Christian Historical Fiction, which this is not, but I keep coming back for more of Deanna's writing in spite of her flawed characters as they are so real. Aren't we all flawed truly?

I enjoyed the novella leading up to this one as well. This had adventure and a bit of mystery flare with a good deal of emotional and thoughtful romance. Sure there was a scene of heat, but mostly it was a mental and emotionally driven romance in wondering characters thoughts.

As always I will be coming back for more from her writing in the future. (And this is a middle of the night review, if seen to be disjointed.)

EBook from library.
