Fairy Godmothers, Inc was super cute! It's a second chance romance with a magical twist! Lucky Fujiki is anything but lucky. Bad things seem to happen all around her, especially whenever she tried to have sex with her college boyfriend. Now her godmothers are asking her to get fake married to said ex boyfriend to help boost their wedding planning business! She can't say no to them, but she also can't say no to a second chance with Ransom.
The one thing that I annoyed me about Fairy Godmothers, Inc was that I have no idea how old the characters are or what they look like. The latter isn't that important, but the former was a glaring hole. They say that the college incident was "years and years ago." What does that mean? Four years? Ten years? Fifteen? Are they in their twenties? Thirties? I have no idea! it nagged at me, since there is no sense of time.
I am a sucker for the fake relationship trope, so of course I adored the twist on it in Fairy Godmothers, Inc. It was fun to see this fairytale wedding get planned and all of the mishaps along the way. The plot is very cheesy, but it totally works. Lucky deserves to find happiness without worrying about jinxing everyone around her!
