Just My Luck is a pretty good fake relationship slash marriage of convenience romance. Jace's grandfather pulled the ol' you-gotta-get-married-to-get-your-inheritance trick, so Jace turns to his legal assistant, Betsy, who's been crushing on him for a while. While Jace is quite the ladies' man, Betsy is the most stable woman in his life, and he knows she needs some financial help, even if he doesn't know for what. Lucky for him, Betsy agrees to a quick wedding and a six month marriage. He doesn't expect to fall in love with his wife though!

I did like Just My Luck. Fake relationships are my favorite, although this one didn't have too many scenes of them pretending to be together in front of others. It's a lot of them awkwardly at home, navigating their new living situation, or them going about their separate daily activities. The one thing I really didn't like though was how Betsy's mother's mental health was used as the trigger to their inevitable fight and break up. This woman has gone through something horrific (content warning for discussions of rape and her being institutionalized for paranoia) and it's only there for Betsy to have a secret that Jace stumbles upon, never to be mentioned again once they get their happy ending.
