One Wild Night

One Wild Night was a great start to this serial! It's like Magic Mike meets What Happens in Vegas. Valerie wakes up with a sexy man in her bed claiming to be her husband. She doesn't remember the night before, but when it comes back to her, she realizes that she married a stripper whom she crowned as Hardest Abs in Vegas. Of course, she immediately tries to file for divorce, but since she nor Wes are Nevada residents, they have to head back to Chicago. Valerie just wants to move on with her life, but Wes may not be so agreeable.

One Wild Night was so fun! I tend to love these kind of fake relationship, forced together type stories. I also loved how it's the guy who is going to be the difficult one and want to stay married! Wes was under the impression that Valerie had a better job than she did, and was possibly looking for a Sugar Mama to help him get to L.A. Well, she's a recent college graduate with an entry level job, a tiny apartment, and a roommate. But the sex is great, so at least that's something!

I generally feel unsatisfied reading serials, but One Wild Night just might have changed my mind! It's fast paced and had me hooked from the beginning. I like the main characters and can't wait to see what they do next. Obviously this isn't a full story, but the ending wasn't too much of a cliffhanger. It just ends with Wes and Valerie beginning their trip back to her hometown. It certainly left me eager to know what's waiting for them back in Chicago!
