This book started out slow, alot of laying the background of the main characters but once you got past this it was a very good book. Dusty a retired Navy Seal and April a Nurse new to the area each coming from different family backgrounds and trying to understand each other. Dusty is a loner and like it that way whereas April enjoys being around people and helping when she can. April adopts a couple of horses so they won't be put down. In her search for a place to house her horses she meets Dusty and even though he has his quirks and does not like to be social this does not stop April from wanting the best for him. This story has many ups and downs but does end with happily every after. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Cheyenne Meadows writings.
