BR with my bby girl DARCEYYYYY !!!!

Holy Freaking Moly this novel was so GD hard hitting emotionally, esp. for me, because it was very personal w/ the mental health rep. I was crying more than not theough! So glad my lil Aussie sis Darcey pushed me to read it, because I generally avoid books thag trigger my mental health issues, but au really needed to hear & read these things. I feel SO damn proud of myself for getting through this & facing some very deep feelings that I tend to keep inside.

There were some very unhealthy habits & possible triggers, the most severe of which is subconscious, mindless, & somewhat minor (but no less important than any other kinds of...) self harm due to extreme anxiety, stress, pressure, feelings of hopelessness & purposelessness, being a victim of racism, etc.

That being said, besides the serious topics, this was a heartwarming novel due to beautiful female friendships, family dynamics, LGBTQIA+ reps, & a very thought/ emotionally provoking, wonderfully written, absolutely fantastic read.

Some aspects were completely unrealistic, but if you suspend disbelief, the wlw relationship was absolutely freaking ADORABLE. Even if the chance of their relationship working IRL has like a 3% probability of actually working.
