Oddball by Sarah Andersen

Oddball (Sarah's Scribbles)

by Sarah Andersen

The newest Sarah's Scribbles collection from New York Times bestselling author Sarah Andersen

The fourth book in the enormously popular graphic novel series, the latest collection of Sarah's Scribbles comics explores the evils of procrastination, the trials of the creative process, the cuteness of kittens, and the beauty of not caring about your appearance as much as you did when you were younger. When it comes to humorous illustrations of the awkwardness and hilarity of millennial life, Sarah's Scribbles is without peer.

Forgive me as I run around the room squealing, but it's here! The latest Sarah's Scribbles book is here! Oddball is a graphic novel that I have been anxiously waiting for, as I love Sarah Andersen's sense of humor and artistic style.

Oddball is the fourth book in this series, which is one part slice of life humor and one part self-confidence/appreciating everything that makes you odd. In short: I love it. Her comics always do such a good job of portraying the quirkier side of people, especially her own character (duh).

The thing I love the most about Sarah's Scribbles (who am I kidding? I love all of it) has got to be all of the 'adulting' humor laced throughout. It's so relatable. I may be an adult, but most of the time, it does not feel that way. This feeling is perfectly embodied within many of these comics, and it is hilarious.

The introvert/cat comics within this particular collection are my absolute favorites. If Sarah Andersen were to ever create a print of them, you better believe they would end up on my wall post haste.

Thanks to Andrews McMeel Publishing and #NetGalley for making this book available for review. All opinions expressed are my own.
