This cover is fairly pretty. It's a bit too stark in its appearance and could be a little more festive. That said I really like the bottom half with the snowflakes.
This is the second book that I have read by this author and again I greatly enjoyed it. It was well-written and nicely paced. The DD/lg kink was a little deeper (for lack of a better word) in this one. Coloring books, stuffed animals and dressing up. Again no epilogue, but I knew that going in, so I was alright with it.
It took me a bit to warm up to Brook. She came across a little too self-centered and lazy in my opinion. I would have liked to have seen her have to go back and pay back the people she ripped off, but OK, that wasn't really the point of the book. Berk was an interesting DD. I enjoyed him, but I would have liked to seen them spend more time together. He always seemed to be off for business. Two-three weeks at a time. His character (and the story as a whole) felt a little underdeveloped to me.
Overall though I am really enjoying this series by this author and look forward to the next one (hopefully coming soon.)
