I’ll confess that I had a little bit of trouble getting into this one. That is really a shame, because I had been looking forward to it (even though it took me forever to actually get around to reading it). I think it could turn into a compelling story. The real problem is that the confusion the characters were experiencing bled too much into the story. The end result was that it felt like the plot moved forward very little, other than to establish some basics. On the bright side those basics could prove to be remarkable, so we’ll have to see how that goes.
