This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I read Skating at Somerset Park before Christmas and I was dying to read the rest of the series. The characters in this book are not the same as the first book. New Year at the Ritz follows Frankie and Zack.

Frankie has been single for a while. She has had a really tough year and is finally read to get on with her life. To move on by herself. Her friends think she should start dating again, but she doesn't need a man. She is happy by herself. Then along comes Zack.

Zack is a sweet, thoughtful man. He brings Frankie coffee in the mornings, he remembers her birthday. He's everything Frankie needs in her life but will she let him in?

It's New Year's Eve and Frankie has received an invitation for a scavenger hunt around London. Through this we learn a lot about Frankie and how she has got to this stage. The Scavenger hunt ends at the Ritz but who would organise such an event for her. Is it her ex Christian or Zack.

I loved this sweet, flirty short story. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
