Shoe Addict's Christmas by Beth Harbison

Shoe Addict's Christmas (Shoe Addict Series, #2.5)

by Beth Harbison

"From the author of the beloved bestseller Shoe Addicts Anonymous comes the story of a woman who finds herself locked in a department store on Christmas Eve and must spend the entire night facing several "ghosts" of Christmases past, present, and future ... all while surrounded by Manolo Blahniks, Jimmy Choos, Chanel slippers, and Prada riding boots"--

This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I received this book for free from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. I've not read the other books in this series but I had seen that this book was not a film and I wanted a nice short Christmas book before the end of the year.

Noelle has been spending her life avoiding adventures for so long she can't remember what it's like to have one! I really liked Noelle. She seems like a bit of an introvert that wants to get out there a bit more but doesn't know how.

The idea of being locked in a department store sounds like so much fun! Like Noelle, I'd definitely be trying on all the clothes and shoes! I've not been shopping in so long and I do miss a day mooching around.

This book too a new twist on A Christmas carol with the shoe's triggering memories. I really liked this. It was a good way for Beth to make it her own.

This is a cute festive story that you can easily read in an afternoon.
