A Match Made for Thanksgiving is a super cute, super fast, holiday novella. Set during Canadian Thanksgiving (my first ever!), we meet Nick and Lily, singles who are not looking for love this holiday season. In fact, Lily was just dumped for being boring, so she’s on the prowl for a one-night stand! Enter Nick, who is a self-proclaimed expert at one-night stands. The two have a steamy night together and don’t expect to see each other ever again. Then Lily shows up at his parents’ house for Thanksgiving dinner as his brother’s date! Oopsie!

I really enjoyed A Match Made for Thanksgiving! Lily and Nick are both lovable characters. It’s very low drama (no unnecessary break up!) and made me smile multiple times in these few pages. I do have to admit that the second half wasn’t as good as the first half. The sexy one-night stand and awkward holiday blind date were tough to beat! It was still sweet to watch Nick and Lily get to know each other and realize that maybe this is a relationship worth pursuing. But the absolute best part was when Nick’s grandmother explained how they chose each of the dates. It’s hilariously clever! Definitely pick this one up!
