If you’re looking for a written form of Pornhub, look no further! This book is an erotica novel masquerading as a romance story. It explores in great detail graphic sexual BDSM acts. Many people will be delighted by Skye’s exploration of her sexuality and BDSM, but I need a bit more substance to interest me. Fifty Shades of Grey had more plot than this book.
Skye and Braden have loads of chemistry, but I barely know a thing about either one of them beyond their control issues, love of dogs, and sexual pleasures. The “confessions” at the end of the novel (both Skye and Braden’s future as well as Braden and Addison’s past) seemed so contrived and unbelievable I laughed out loud. Learning more about an influencer’s lifestyle and business was by far the most interesting part. The story ends on a climax (come on, you all saw that coming), but I have less than 0 interest on the next installment.
tl;dr While I don’t mind sexually graphic content, I need a bit more substance – both in regards to characters and to plot – to make the story enjoyable.
