Eeny Meeny (Helen Grace Thriller, #1) (Detective Inspector Helen Grace)

by M. J. Arlidge

Two people are abducted, imprisoned, and left with a gun. As hunger and thirst set in, only one walks away alive. If Detective Helen Grace hadn't spoken with the shattered survivors herself, she almost wouldn't believe them. This case, with its seemingly random victims, has her baffled. But as more people go missing, nothing will be more terrifying than when it all starts making sense....

DNF, after 100 pages. Sadly despite my initial excitement Eeny Meeny was not for me. Unevenly paced, and it reminded me of those SAW type movies that make my stomach flip-flop. It may just be a mood thing for me, but with so many books in my tbr pile, I just wasn't slipping in and connecting.
