I debated over giving this book 3 or 4 stars and in the end went for four. The story itself was great, I really enjoyed it and I thought the characters were well developed and interacted brilliantly. My indecision came about because the storyline did get quite confusing, dotting about between the 'present' (for want of a better word) and 300 years in the future. It all gelled together very well in the end though.
