The Fall of Anne Boleyn: A Countdown is about the time and events leading up to the execution of Anne Boleyn. While we may never know the truth about what really happened, this book does a fantastic job of presenting the facts, along with the rumors that ran rampant around this case. By allowing the reader to read the information that's available, and by presenting it in a concise and easy-to-read format, the author delivers a wonderful defense of Anne Boleyn.

I've been fascinated by the history of Anne Boleyn and the Tudor dynasty for years, and it's always bothered me that we've never known for sure what happened, or just why Anne was executed. Ms. Ridgway doesn't have concrete proof, but she does present a very compelling case.

It's obvious that the author has done a lot of research, and the book was written in a way that kept the facts from being boring.

In short, I believe anyone interested in learning more about Anne Boleyn's fall and execution will enjoy this book. It's packed full of facts, quotes, dates, and bits of letters written during Anne's time. This was a very informative and interesting read.
