Rhett is a single dad who works on his family's ranch and is recovering from a leg injury that he swears that he is fine and overworks himself. Rhett's father takes matters into his own hands to get Rhett to take his injury seriously and brings a doctor to the ranch to help him heal. Leah is your typical city girl and now has to put up with an extremely grumpy Rhett. Rhett tries to push all of Leah's limits but she is stronger than she seems and soon a connection starts to form between them. Leah being at the ranch permanently is something Rhett could get behind.

I loved the family relationship in the book. Rhett's daughter was adorable. Rhett and Leah had some great chemistry together later in the book. I thoroughly enjoyed this book although there seemed to be more focus on the comedy than the romance. Had the humor been spaced out just a little bit more, this could have been a great book.

Rating … 4 Maple Leafs
Genre/Trope … Romantic Comedy, Single Dad Romance, Medical Romance, Opposites Attract, Cowboy Romance
Point of View … First-Person (Rhett and Leah)
