Super cute middle grade fiction. The focus is friendships, which I loved. A riches to rags to riches kind of story. The ending is a little cheesy, but I think that's because I'm an adult reader; I definitely feel like it would convey well for 4th-6th grade readers. Recommend for folx who want something a little lighter than Nevermoor or Harry Potter but still with magic.
