I received this ARC as part of Miss Print’s ARC Adoption Program. This is a debut novel that at first seems like a fluff nice quick middle grade which in a way it is but the details of the characters and plot really had me gripped and enjoying the story. I almost felt like i did when i first started reading the Narnia books, you escape into this world that you really don't know much about and you really get involved with what is happening in the story.

I felt that their maybe some parts of it that are bit dark for a children's novel but not without good reason, the author really trying to get across how evil the queen is and how even when you think you know who characters are they are not always as they seem.

Like a good children story their a few lessons to learn along the way their also enough unanswered questions that i think this author could give us more story if she choose to. I am excited to see what else the new author has to offer down the road.
